Well, aside from running ProjectOKC, I'm a sign language interpreter in the metro area. I work with the deaf four days a week and spend the rest of the time working the non-profit beat and doing consultant work.
I'm a bit unorthodox in my thinking, you can find that to be true on my multiple websites... http://rexbarrett.tum... http://rexbarrett.us... http://facebook.com/r... http://twitter.com/pr... What about you? |

I am a Wal-Mart Asst. manager. I am the overnight manager which means I have a pretty wacky schedule but do my best to be available to do a little good in the metro. I work 4 days on and 4 days off. I am a father and a foster father and an Asst. Organizer here fighting the good fight. Short and sweet and to the point...
Hope to see you and get to know you better soon. |

I left out where I am from. Well, I live in Moore. I work in Warr Acres but just recently transfered from Edmond. My daughter goes to school in Norman. I go to church on the South Side and I like to spend time all over the city. I am all over the metro. What I am telling you is I need gas cards for my birthday next month. *smirk*

I'm a freelance writer and crafter of almost anything I can get my hands on or wrap my brain around. I also have a little boy named Beaux who is a little person with a big personality all of his own.

I was originally born in Ohio. I found myself grounded in NW Edmond when I was 6 years old and have not left Edmond since. For 16.5 years (is it time to retire yet? LOL) I have worked for the Kirkpatricks, one of Oklahoma's greatest philanthropistic families. I am honored to have seen and be part of the changes that they have made in our community.
I have a beautiful 6yr old daughter that is extremely selflessness and has a huge heart for giving! She has given me the energy and determination to compelled myself to make changes in the community that has given us so much and look forward to what the future brings!
