Plans for the Meetup:

Two projects will be going on at the same time this week. The first is that we will be making cards for children in an orphanage we are connected with in Sierra Leon.

Here is message from 4HIM:
"A 4HIM team will be traveling to Sierra Leone in March. If you would like to send a small package to your child, please have it in our office no later than March 16th. The package must fit in a 9 by 11 inch manila envelope, in order for us to take our needed supplies overseas. Please include a self addressed manila envelope with your package. This will allow us to get your letters back to you quickly."

Please bring craft supplies for making cards. Invite any children along too, this is going to be a fun project for all to be part of.

The second thing we are doing will be to attach bottles of water to granola or powerbars. We plan on keeping them in the seats of our cars to hand out to panhandlers. Some water and a snack as they stand outside for hours on end.
