Social networking has become so easy! Thanks to technology I have access to all kinds of people at any time of day. It’s been so wonderful to find other people out there who share my interests and, sometimes, my humor. It’s astounding, really. Also astounding is the fact that, while you and I have been granted inroads to the lives of many, there are still people in our community who feel the absence of relationship.

ProjectOKC is working on ways to reach out to those people and let them know they are valuable. Once a month, we will provide a fun atmosphere for adults and children to meet local artists and create one-of-a-kind pieces of art. The finished projects will be sent to local nursing home residents, foster care children, and to orphanages in war-torn countries. There’s possibly no better way to show someone they are important than to remember them on their birthday. Please join us, the event starts at 6:30 and ends when you are full and ready to jet, typically 7:45ish.
