Got a call from Bruce over at Rococo, if you’ve ever chatted with him you’d recognize that east coast cadence at “hello is this...” He asked if I’d like to be a celebrity bartender for a giveback night over at his restaurant. After having a good chuckle over the word celebrity, I said I’d do it.

Here’s the deal, we’re raising money for disaster relief, we’re eating fine food, we’re sipping fine drinks, and we’ll party into the evening. Invite your friends and tell your families you’ll be out all night because we’re shutting the Penn location down on June 2nd.

First up... deadCENTER Film Festival. I'm running the party for opening night and need your help on June 8th! We'll set up, connect with family members of Kings of Leon, as we'll be showing their film Talihina Sky, and tear down. The event will be from 6:00p - 11:00p and I'll throw in four film passes to each volunteer!

The 2011 deadCENTER Film Festival is June 8-12 and includes over 100 films from around the world playing in seven locations in downtown Oklahoma City. From hilarious comedies and inspiring documentaries to visionary shorts and zombie musicals, deadCENTER features films from a hundred different perspectives for a thousand different tastes.
